Common questions

The app won't scan my receipt — what should I do?
First make sure the QR is the official one issued by the merchant under the Albanian fiskalizimi system (it should encode a URL on tatime.gov.al). If it is and the scan still fails, email us with a clear photo of the QR and the error message and we'll investigate.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Profile → Delete account. There's a 30-day grace period during which you can recover. Full instructions, including how to delete by email if you no longer have the app, are at /account/delete.
Is FiskalScan affiliated with the tax authority?
No. FiskalScan is an independent app. We use the public verification endpoint at tatime.gov.al to confirm receipts, but we are not endorsed by, partnered with, or otherwise affiliated with the General Directorate of Taxation of the Republic of Albania.
Will FiskalScan ever cost money?
The current personal-use experience is free and will remain free. If we ever introduce paid features (for example, business or accountant tools), we'll communicate clearly in advance and existing personal use will not be affected.
